This was an MV release that I was waiting on expectantly and it did not let me down. From the suspenders and scarves to the classic Hollywood glamour, the gorgeous girls of 9Muses are a treat to watch and they easily live up to the high standards set for them. Honestly, what really caught me in this MV was the fashion, there are so many awesome style sets. The plethora of uniquely kpop crazy fashions are brought together harmoniously via the interesting technique of utilizing multiple color-palates that are not matched by base-shade, but rather through lighting conditions. The constant shifting of the warm and cool color palates between and within each setting allows for the outfits in focus to suit the current conditions without making the others feel out of place. Additionally, having the two sets of uniform outfits give just enough continuity to the group for viewers to feel satisfied in the homogeneity of the idol concept (as much as people rag on "manufacturing idols that all look the same" it really makes the human brain happy to see an idol group looking like an idol group, everyone's brain loves a uniform).

    Aside from the fabulous fashions, this MV has some pretty interesting choreography, it's fun and feisty, and while it's not my favorite choreo ever, it suits the track very well and I have no real complaints for it. The track itself is paired well to the visuals as well. The crystal clear images, made to feel clean and crisp and smoothe by the careful application of bright colors and a smoky background that makes the foreground appear in sharp relief, make the whispery vocals feel ethereal (which plays off the ethereal settings and angelic singers, creating a feedback loop that makes everything seem more hauntingly gorgeous the more you look and listen). The whispery chorus could have very well floated away if it wasn't grounded by the rap sections. Normally the sort of cutesy rap heard on this track annoys me, but the slightly higher tone and the playful sound of it meshes very well with the ethereal aspects of the rest of the track. It's catchy and well rounded and I like it.

        FULL of fanservice, but that's only to be expected from Nine Muses; delightfully homoerotic undertones included. They always make sure to make the fans happy, and they pull off being perfectly sophisticated while doing it. The set-up for this one was a little ridiculous, but hey, it's cool I suppose. All of the styling is gorgeous and the unique camera angles keep things fabulously interesting throughout the MV. The choreography is fabulous, sweetly flirtatious and and downright sex-kitten-esque at the same time, and the different levels it works with are really cool to watch evolve.
        The track itself is energetic and well made, perfectly balanced and mixed and panned to keep things moving with an undertow of urgency. It doesn't really evolve much, but the stasis it keeps is perfectly appealing. It's nothing spectacular, but it sits nicely within Nine Muses' image without falling into a rut of feeling like too much more of the same. All in all, I quite like it.

The simplicity of the black & white with red is beautiful, it really pushes the feeling of goddess-like elegance. It also allows the focus to be on the serious allusions in the MV and the song itself. We've got some BDSM, homo-eroticism, sexuality in general, as well as the nature of dominance, dependence, innocence, and love. All of it's arranged very in a very tidy, allusive manner, made known only by a few suggestive and symbolic objects and outfits. It's absolutely beautiful how they did it, the girl in white standing at the bar; the girl in the white & pink jersey that says 'pervert'; the girl in white laid out on the table with the gun in contrast to the girl in black with the rose . . . It really is simply beautiful. The visual transitions are perfectly well placed, timed to fit neatly within the arcs of the song. The Choreography is lovely, very elegant and sexy. The MV doesn't make much use of it, but there are enough short shots to make the a point.

I love it, hands down it's my favorite Nine Muses release to date.
