Great Concept, Fabulous Fun.
The song is fun, a great summertime anthem. It's nothing incredible, but it's catchy and energetic. Perfect work out music and great for cook outs and any other summertime situation. It's got the high synths and the cutesy voice to make it sweet, but there's also high straight vocals to link it to the more power aspects of the the vocal patterns, in fact it uses the power needed to hit certain high notes to show how powerful the girls are. It's got a nice balance between the vocals and the bass and nice rough sawtooth synths to balance the vocal smoothness. And the song as a whole juggles a girly cuteness with a womanly strength very well, making neither seem exclusive or preferable. The guitar and the drums make it rock just enough to be a true anthem.
I'm not a huge fan of the styling. I love the individual scenes, and their hair/make-up, and I like the zebra bits, but other than that meh. I like the concept of the blue outfits, but I think the long trail is too thin, it looks like it's toilet paper or something from an 80's teen movie. I'm also not a huge fan of the choreography, it's just blah and your typical hip-shaking sexiness.
I do like the parts with the yellow screen, that's a great throw to the sexy side. I'm not a fan of parts behind the roman shade or whatever it is. That's just too allusive to peeping voyeurism for my tastes. Other than that, I like all the sets and the concept as a whole.
